How it works

Same product, two setups. Pick the one you are.

  1. 1

    Step 1: Create your account

Email and a password. No card, and seven days of the whole thing to decide with.

The PebbleYard sign-up screen, asking for an email address and a password.
  2. 2

Step 2: Add a child profile

Choose an alias, set the timer mode, and lock the settings if you want them fixed.

A child profile being set up, with the alias field and the timer mode picker.
  3. 3

Step 3: Pick a topic, or describe your own

Maths, English and plenty besides ship in the box. Or type a topic name and our AI writes the lesson, quiz and spelling set for you - review it and tweak anything before your child sees it.

The topic grid, showing the built-in subjects a child can pick from.
  4. 4

Step 4: They learn, quiz and climb the board

Read the lesson, take the quiz, see the best attempt land on the leaderboard.

The leaderboard, switchable between Quiz and Spelling and filterable to a single topic.

Common questions

Roughly 5 to 11, which is primary school and kindergarten. The built-in topics sit in that band, and any topic you describe can be pitched wherever you like - just say the age and our AI writes to it.

No. No ads, no in-app purchases, no currency to collect. The subscription is the whole business model.

There is no chat, no messaging and no social feed. The only shared surface is a leaderboard, which shows aliases and is opt-in.

The quiz is attached to a lesson, and if you set a time limit the pause removes the question from the screen, so a pause cannot be used to look something up.

Yes: 1000+ topics, Foundation/Prep to Year 6, in Maths and English, sequenced to the Australian Curriculum Version 9.0 with an ACARA reference on every topic. Outside that pathway, staff can describe further topics against your own unit plans and our AI writes them, ready to review.

About 20 minutes on a call. We create the account and set up your student profiles with you, and you can be running a topic the same day. No IT involvement is needed.

Students appear under aliases. Public leaderboards are off unless a school turns them on. We do not run ads, sell data, or use third-party trackers on student surfaces.

Yes. A trial account with your real classes in it, and one topic authored against a unit you are teaching, left with you for two weeks.

Whoever you nominate. An account owner adds staff, and decides who can author topics by which role they give them.

No. A student signs in with a class code and either a PIN or a printed QR card - nothing to type for a child too young to type it, and nothing to phish or reset.

Yes. Annual, per student, and we take a PO number and invoice on net-30 terms as well as card payment.
