Getting started

Updated 11/Aug/2026

Welcome

This guide walks you through the first few steps after you create your account.

1. Finish the setup checklist

When you first sign in, your dashboard shows a "Get started" checklist. Each item links straight to the place in the app where you complete it, so you can work through them in order:

  • Complete your profile
  • Invite a family member
  • Choose the plan that fits your needs
  • Generate an API key (if you build on our API)
  • Configure a webhook (if you want event notifications)

The checklist disappears once every item is done. You do not have to finish it in one sitting.

2. Take the product tour

If you would like a guided walkthrough of the dashboard, look for the "Take a quick tour" button and follow the highlighted steps.

3. Set your preferences

Open Settings to set your timezone, date format, and notification preferences so that dates and alerts match how you work.
