From your dashboard, select Add child. This opens a short form - you don't need to fill in everything at once, you can always come back and change it later.
What you set up
Name - what you call your child. You can also set a separate display alias, which is what appears if this child's results ever show on a public leaderboard.
Year level - PebbleYard suggests one based on age, but you choose the one that actually fits. This decides which topics show up on your child's hub.
Public leaderboard - off by default. Turn it on only if you want this child's results to be visible outside your family - see
Timer preference - whether Activities run against a clock, and which timing options your child is allowed to pick between.
Pass mark - the score needed to pass an Activity. Leave this alone to use your account's default, or set one specifically for this child.
Family-plan accounts also see bonus year levels here - a way to let a child ahead of their class try topics from a year above, without moving their whole profile up.
How many children you can add
Each plan caps the number of child profiles you can create. If you're at your limit, Add child shows an upgrade prompt instead of the form - see Choosing a plan.
After you add a child
The new child appears immediately as a card on your dashboard, ready to start learning. From there you can open their full profile to fine-tune anything - see Managing your child's profile and settings.
