A topic you create moves through a few states, shown right on its card in Topics:
Draft - your description, not yet generated.
Being written - generation is running.
Ready to check - written and passed an automatic safety check. Now it's your turn.
Live - published, and visible on your child's hub.
("Did not finish" appears if generation itself failed - you can retry it.)
Two safety checks, not one
Before anything is generated, your description itself is screened - so a request that shouldn't be written never costs you anything and never reaches the writing step. Once a topic is written, the finished content is screened again before it's ever shown to you as ready to check. If your description is refused, PebbleYard doesn't tell you exactly why - just that it can't proceed - so try rephrasing what you're asking for.
Your review
When a topic reaches Ready to check, open it to read through everything it wrote - the lessons, every question, the spelling list - exactly as your child would see it, answers included (that's why this screen sits behind your parent PIN). Edit anything you want changed, then select Make it live when you're happy with it.
Once it's live
A published topic appears on your child's hub alongside the built-in catalogue, with Learn and Activity working exactly the same way. If the content is ever edited later, it's automatically re-screened before the change is allowed to reach your child.
